Taking Care of Your Rechargeable Batteries

To get the most out of your rechargeable batteries you must to properly take care of them. Store your batteries fully charged. Over time the batteries will loose charge, and when the battery is completely dead is when damage can occur. If your batteries have been on the shelf for 30 days, take them out, charge them fully and then put them back into storage. Drain the batteries completely dead at least once a month. If it is a nickel cadmium battery, do this anytime you can. Remove the batteries from the charger as soon as they are fully charged.
